How to Draw a Candy Corn Easily for Halloween

Step 1: Draw a Corner Edged Triangle

Draw a Corner Edged Triangle for Candy Corn Body

First of all, make sure you have all the drawing materials ready. Then start drawing the candy corn. For starting out the candy corn drawing for your Halloween project, you have to draw a triangle at first.

This is a simple corner-edged triangle. So, you can easily draw it by using a ruler. The size of the candy corn will depend on the size of this triangle. So, draw it accordingly.

Step 2: Draw the Candy Corn Body

Draw the Body of the Candy Corn

Now, you have to draw the body of the candy corn. To give the triangle a candy corn body shape, you have to make all the edges of the triangle round.

You have to also make the candy sides slightly curved so that it looks like real Halloween candy corn. Then erase the unwanted marks of the triangle cleanly.

Step 3: Make Body Partitions

Make Partitions of the Candy Corn Body

After completing the body part drawing, make partitions inside the body which is the main attraction of a candy corn. Draw two slightly curved lines inside the body part.

Make sure there is an equal distance between the two lines so that the body part divides equally into three sections.

Step 4: Create the Devil Horns

Create Candy Corn's Devil Horns

Now, it’s time to give the candy corn a Halloween look by adding the devil horns. You have to draw it on the top two corners. Only by drawing slightly curved lines, you can easily do it.

But be careful while drawing, as the horns need to be symmetrical.

Step 5: Add Face Details

Add Face Details to the Candy Corn

Inside the middle portion of the body, draw all the face details. I have added eyes and mouth here. For eyes, I have drawn two smooth circles side by side. And for the mouth, I have drawn a small U shape.

Color the Candy Corn Drawing

Add Color to the Candy Corn Drawing

Make the candy corn more beautiful by adding color to it. I have used basic colors for the candy corn. For the body, I have used yellow, orange, and white colors. And for the devil horns, I have used red. You can see that I have made all the face details black.

I have done all these colors using watercolor markers. But I would recommend you use your own coloring tools and explore new shades. And don’t forget to outline the whole drawing using a black marker.
