Pencil: 6B or 4B
Paper: 320 gsm

How to Draw a Lighthouse Step By Step
Step 1: Draw the Body Structure
Get your hands on the drawing supplies like the pencil and paper. First of all, draw a long slanted line on the left side of the paper.
Then draw another slanted line on the right side which will be the flipped version of the previous one. Now, join the upper and lower edges of the lines to complete the body structure of the lighthouse.
Step 2: Porch of the Lighthouse
Draw a curvy rectangle on the top side of the lighthouse structure. It will be the balcony or porch of the beautiful lighthouse.
Step 3: Complete the Porch Drawing
Now, erase the unnecessary lines inside the porch using a good-quality eraser. And draw the backside of the porch using sharp curves. Draw the curves on both of the lower sides of the porch.
Step 4: Draw the Top Tower
At this stage, draw a small triangle on top of the body structure. It will be the top tower of the lighthouse. I have also added the lighthouse characteristic stripes inside the body structure using straight lines horizontally.
Step 5: Add the Door and Windows
I have used a rectangle for the door. I have drawn the door on the bottom of the body structure. For the windows, I have used a U shape.
I have added the windows on the body structure and each of them is inside the characteristic stripes. For some detailing, I have added a zigzag line and a small circle on the top tower.
Color the Drawing
Finally, bring light into your lighthouse by coloring it. I have used watercolor markers for coloring and used shades of orange, yellow, and light pink.
You can color your lighthouse using your favorite color supplies and shades.
