How to Draw a Nose for Beginners (Step-by-Step)
Step-1: Draw the Circles
First of all, take a ruler and draw a straight line on the middle of the paper. The line should be the length of your nose. So, draw it accordingly.
Then draw a medium sized circle on the left side of the straight line. The top position of the circle should be near to the centre of the line.
Then draw another small circle on the right side of the line. Make sure the circle is on the lower position of the line.
Step-2: Draw the Nose Curves
In this stage, you have to draw the curves of the nose. So, follow the reference and draw a slightly curve line on the left side of the line.
The curve will start from the top of the straight line and joins the top of the big circle.
Then draw another curve line on the lower side of the big circle that joins with the bottom of the straight line.
Step-3: Joining the Circles
Here, you have to erase the straight line using a high quality eraser. Then draw a slightly curve line that joins both of the circles.
For this, start from the lower side of the big circle, but just above the lower curved line. Now, join the line on the bottom of the small circle.
Step-4: Draw the Nostril
Now, you have to draw the nostril of the nose. So, follow the reference, and fill up a small area using your pencil. It should be in between the curved lines of the big circles.
Don’t forget to erase both of the circles and make the area dust free.
Step-5: Create the Edge of the Nostril
As, we all have an edge around our nostril, you have to also create that on your drawing to keep it similar to the real ones. So, use shading technique and create the edge of the nostril.
Step-6: Shade the Drawing
To make the nose drawing look more realistic, you have to use shading on all over the nose. Only by using shading technique you can get your desired realistic nose drawing.
